Last year a local NGO www.worldactionfund.org managed to distribute 290
free wheel chairs and tri-circles to Maracha, Arua locals and Moyo
(refugees.) All for PWDs
We are again starting to register new recipients for the same number the
donor is willing to give more twice yearly. We had more from Arua, to
continue due to logistical challenges the volunteers didn't do it
accurately, there are ready wheel chairs and tricircles to be fabricated
from Vietnam according to our donor from UK. Should any of you know of
collaborating partner or individual who can help in logistical costs to
help reassess the PWDs in Arua and Maracha, the better, thereafter we will
proceed to Koboko, Yumbe, and Moyo, Adjumani, Nebbi, Zombo respectively,
yearly two distributions with 290 wheel chairs and tricircles.
The only challenge we have is logistical costs, as these donated equipments
arrive without any cash support. And the districts have nothing to support

over 1000 children with different special needs from age 6-9 in Arua
district only, more need for research, these are in primary schools, what
of those who never went to school, are are home and other districts in the
region are yet to be registered, it costly exercise but the equipments are
there for free..
